Vision

As with our medical and dental plans, Fisher Investments covers 100% of vision plan premiums for you and your qualified dependents.

Vision Benefits

Not only does Fisher Investments pay 100% of the monthly vision premium costs for you and your dependents, the plan also offers top-notch allowances. Even better, there’s no annual deductible amount before the plan begins to pay benefits.

For eye exams within the VSP network, the plan pays 100% of the cost; outside of the network, the plan pays up to $76. The plan offers a $300 allowance on the first pair of frames, plus fully covered lenses. If you choose to get a second pair of glasses, the plan offers an allowance of up to $150 on frames, plus full covered lenses (after a $20 copay). If you would prefer contact lenses, you may use one or both of your allowances on a contact lens purchase.

Some upgrades, such as UV coating, scratch-resistant coating, progressive lenses and polycarbonate lenses are covered in full by the plan, while other upgrades, such as anti-reflective coating and tints are covered after a $20 copay.

Using the VSP plan is really easy! At your appointment, simply tell the provider you have VSP and they’ll take care of the rest. For out-of-network expenses, you must submit a claim to VSP online at www.vsp.com.
